Risks of Fracture of Björk-Shiley 60 Convexo-concave Prosthetic Heart Valves:
Long-Term Cohort Follow Up in the UK, Netherlands and USA

Taylor, Yolanda van der Graaf Long-term follow up of nearly 15,000 American, British and Dutch patients with Björk-Shiley convexo-concave 60 prosthetic heart valves revealed that fractures of the valves’ outlet struts continued into the 1990s, albeit at a reduced rate, and that risk factors for valve fracture tended to be similar in each country. |
