Tricuspid valve myxomas are extremely rare, with only 21 case reports having been identified in the literature. A case of tricuspid valve myxoma in a 5-year-old child is presented. The tumor was a solid type myxoma attached to the septal leaflet of the tricuspid valve, and manifested as right-sided heart failure. The patient succefully underwent surgical excision of the tumor without any recurrence during a follow up of 30 months.
