Feasibility of the Ross Procedure: Its Relationship with the Bicuspid Aortic Valve

The influence of the etiology on the outcome and feasibility of the Ross procedure was analyzed. Patients with bicuspid aortic valve showed a higher rate of anatomic defects in the pulmonary valve. At late follow up, patients with a history of aortic insufficiency and bicuspid aortic valve had a higher rate of autograft dysfunction
