Traumatic Aortic Regurgitation: Aortic Valvuloplasty Controlled by Aortoscopy

Traumatic aortic valve regurgitation is a rare complication of non-penetrating thoracic trauma. Treatment by aortic valve replacement has long been recommended, but nowadays aortic valve reconstruction is increasingly performed. In a plea for conservative surgery, we report a new case of traumatic aortic valve disruption that was primarily repaired and controlled with aortic endoscopy.
