Traumatic mitral valve injury is rare, and few data exist regarding the impact of trauma on a previously repaired mitral valve. The case is presented of a dehisced mitral annuloplasty caused by a motor

vehicle accident. The patient underwent successful re-repair of the mitral valve repair.
