Abstract

Bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) disease is a common congenital heart defect that can lead to significant cardiovascular complications. This review provides an in-depth analysis of the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and management strategies for BAV disease. We explore the genetic and environmental factors contributing to BAV, discuss its associated complications, and review current treatment options and guidelines for optimal patient care.
