Abstract

Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) plays a crucial role in the recovery and long-term management of patients undergoing heart valve surgery. This article reviews the benefits of cardiac rehabilitation for patients post-heart valve surgery, including improvements in functional capacity, quality of life, and reduction in cardiovascular events. We also discuss established protocols, key components of effective CR programs, and the latest evidence supporting their implementation.
