Abstract

Heart valve calcification is a significant contributor to the progression of aortic stenosis and other valvular heart diseases. This article reviews the latest advancements in novel drug therapies aimed at inhibiting heart valve calcification. We discuss the mechanisms through which these drugs act, their efficacy in preclinical and clinical trials, and the potential for future therapeutic developments.
