Abstract

Patient-specific modeling has emerged as a transformative tool in the management of heart valve diseases, providing personalized insights into disease mechanisms, treatment planning, and outcome predictions. This article reviews the development and application of patient-specific modeling techniques in heart valve disease, including computational simulations, imaging-based models, and their clinical implications. We discuss the current state of research, challenges, and future directions in integrating patient-specific models into clinical practice.
